A new grocery store is gearing up to open soon at Loch Raven Plaza.

ALDI, a discount supermaket, is scheduled for a Nov. 30 opening at 903 Taylor Avenue, according to a news release. The store is taking over space formerly occupied by Weiss.

Business hours for the Towson location are from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, the release states.

The chain has more than 1,200 stores across the country.

ALDI also owns Trader Joe's, which has a location at 1 E. Joppa Road.
