Aldi To Move Into Loch Raven Plaza

Another grocery chain is planting its first flag in Towson.
The Baltimore Business Journal reports that Aldi has signed a lease for a store at Loch Raven Plaza, located at the intersection of Loch Raven Boulevard and Taylor Avenue.
Aldi also owns Trader Joe's, which has a location at 1 E. Joppa Road in Towson.
The BBJ also reports that Aaron's has signed a lease for 7,556 square feet, the remainder of the former Superfresh, which moved to Towson Marketplace in 1999.
As Towson Patch reported earlier this month, that store's former space was leased by Weis Markets, with a store set to open late this year or in early 2013.
