Update: Body Found in East Joppa Road Dumpster
Police have little information on a man's death Saturday morning.
Update (Monday, 10:52 a.m.)—Police have ruled the death a suicide. Here's what Patch reported Saturday morning:
Baltimore County police are investigating a mysterious death in downtown Towson.
According to police, at 8 a.m. Saturday, a passerby found an unidentified man's body in a dumpster next to Tabco Towers in Towson.
The white male has "no confirmed identity," police Lt. Michael DiCarn said. He couldn't speculate if foul play was involved.
The state medical examiner will determine a cause of death.

"couldn't speculate if foul play was involved". People climb into dumpsters and die of natural causes all the time.

No Doug. People do not "climb into dumpsters and die of natural causes all the time". The weather is still mild.
Perhaps something sinister happened. This is a human being after all. This must be investigated further. This person has family and people who care for him. You cannot discount another's life.

"No confirmed identity"? Maybe this means they have not yet confirmed the identity of this person?

Hi Evets,
That was a direct quote from what the lieutenant told me this morning. We will have more information as soon as we get it. Thanks!

I'm curious how a passerby "happened to notice" a body in a Dumpster. Strikes me as unlikely.

Doug Evans was using sarcasm! Duh. Most "passerbys" are not holding trash to dump

Maybe the passerby is a dumpster diver

Is it really necessary to joke about a body found anywhere?

I live across the street from Tabco and am used to all manner of police, ambulance and fire vehicles there day and night, but this is really a shock. People from the building use the dumpster to throw their trash in all the time. The one thing that really was disturbing was the fact that the fire truck used a hook and ladder to retrieve the body (which had no clothes on) and the body was visible to anyone from Tabco as well as the businesses next door and the Ridgely Condos behind it. I would think that they would have at least covered the body before removing it.
