Patriot Plaza? Not This Week

The county will temporarily rename the plaza during the next chapter in the Baltimore Ravens playoff run.

Patriot Plaza was named to honor service members, not Tom Brady. But at least for the next few days, the plaza's name just doesn't fit right.

Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz will temporarily rename the plaza outside Baltimore County Circuit Court "Ravens Plaza" at a county pep rally on Friday, according to a county press release.

Show up at 12:30 p.m. for a Purple Friday photo with members of the Towson Chamber of Commerce, the Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Towson Council of Community Associations.

The Ravens face the New England Patriots on Sunday in the AFC Championship.

Last week, Ravens ground crews painted the team's logo on grass at the plaza.
