Towson Crime: Man Robs 3 People Sitting in Car
The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.
Dalton Road/Dartmouth Avenue. At 2:43 a.m. Jan. 27. A man robbed three people, who were sitting in a vehicle, of their cell phones.
Glen Keith Boulevard, 1700 block. Between 9 and 11:30 p.m. A laptop, iPod and ring valued at $600 were stolen from a residence. The apartment door was found open and there were no signs of forced entry.
York Road, 1000 block. At 5:15 a.m. Jan. 25. A robber entered a CVS store, walked behind a counter and pressed a hard metal object against a cashier. The robber demanded the cashier open the register and stole approximately $100 before exiting the store.

Why would they want to work and earn the money to get their own? They have probably grown up getting free money, food, housing allowance, transportation, medical care, and even cell phones! They feel entitled to anything they want, even if the most work they have to do is break a window.

Maybe Patch can help me with this issue......How come when Patch produces a " crime blotter" and posts it online, it doesn't cover all of the crimes that week, and also doesn't include ALL of the information the police give out. I don't understand this practice, and I see it consistantly with Patch. For any interested parties, here is the actual Crime Blotter for the week above, which Patch shows has only 3 crimes and has almost no information on those 3 crimes. Why would a localized newspaper specifically for a community, in this case the Towson community, only print these 3 crimes with virtually no info. Why not print the entire crime blotter? I just don't understand why they would only show 3 from a list and print it. Here's what's available from another site:

January 27: Armed Robbery - Gun, Dalton Road and Dartmouth Avenue, 21234
At 2:43 a.m., the suspect approached the victim and displayed a handgun. The suspect took two cell phones from the victim and fled. The suspect is a black male, in his 20s, 6', and 180 pounds.
January 27: Armed Robbery - Gun, 1300 block of Taylor Avenue, 21234
At 2:35 a.m., three or four black males approached four victims and displayed guns. The suspects struck two of the victims with the handguns and took wallets, cash, a cell phone, and car keys from the victims.
January 26: First Degree Burglary, 1700 block of Glen Keith Boulevard, 21234
Between 9 and 11:30 p.m., an unknown suspect entered an apartment and took jewelry and electronics. There were no signs of forced entry.
January 26: Armed Robbery - Knife, Yakona Road and Loch Raven Boulevard, 21234
At 1:45 a.m., the suspect approached the victim and displayed a knife. The victim gave the suspect two bottles of methadone from her purse. The suspect is a white male, 25 to 30 years old.

January 25: Armed Robbery - Weapon Implied, 1000 block of York Road, 21286
At 5:15 a.m., a man entered the CVS store and walked behind the counter. He pressed a hard object concealed inside his coat against the employee to imply that he had a gun. The suspect demanded money out of the register and fled on foot after the employee complied. The suspect is a black male, 25 to 30 years old.
January 24: First Degree Assault, 300 block of East Joppa Road, 21286
At 10:50 p.m., the victim and the suspect got into a fight over a girl. During the fight, the victim was cut with a box cutter.
January 23: Second Degree Burglary, 1500 block of East Joppa Road, 21286
At 7:40 a.m., a black male in his 30s was seen taking steel pipe from the rear of Marocco Construction.

The first robbery listed on patch doesn't say it was an ARMED ROBBERY, when the police blotter clearly indicates that it was..frankly, i don't even see on the police blotter where it says there were multiple victims sitting in a car. The police report says victim, not victims...IDK, maybe i just expect too much....
