Towson Family Center Y management is opening the facility's showers to those who are still suffering from power outages.
Councilman David Marks said he spoke with Bev Landis, the center's disrict executive director, who agreed to make the showers available until the Y closes at 9:45 p.m.
"I know there are still some outages throughout Towson and Loch Raven and will keep in touch with BGE until they are all addressed," Marks said in an email.
As of 9:03 a.m., 28,777 Baltimore Gas & Electric customers in Baltimore County were without power, according to the utilities company's website.
