Vehicle Crash Closes Convenience Store
The cause of the early morning single-vehicle accident at a Royal Farms store involving a Pikesville area teen remains under investigation.
UPDATED (11:09 a.m.)—An early morning accident that left a gaping hole in the front entrance of a Royal Farms convenience store on Joppa Road remains under investigation.
No one was injured in the single-vehicle accident occurred at the store located in the 1500 block of East Joppa Road shortly after 3 a.m. Saturday, according to Cpl. Cathy Batton, a Baltimore County Police Department spokeswoman.
Police said a Nissan driven by a 19-year-woman from the Pikesville area struck the building. No charges have yet been filed and no one was arrested, according to Batton.
The store was closed Saturday morning while contractors worked to close up the hole in the building.

Yes, It did happen over the summer, a "senior" gentleman, drove through it. He had gotten the brake & gas confused, or that was what I was told. They might want to consider those big steel/concrete poles in the remodel.

Man I hope she was txting her BFF Jill and screwed up the gas/brake. That should count as the "secondary offense" for that cell phone "law" we've got to get enforced.
