Use Ornamental Cabbage and Kale to Add New Textures and A Spooky Element to Your Fall Garden

Ornamental cabbage and kale add a spooky element to your garden this time of year. The cabbage comes in hues of greens and purples. The leaves have a rounded shape and work very well as filler for larger spaces. The kale comes in the same green and purple shades as the cabbage but their taller stems and ruffled leaves create an attention-grabbing effect against the more traditional looking cabbage. These non-edible plants work well in spaces with moderate to high light and can with stand the colder temperatures and a few frosts. When paired with other seasonal plants such as mums and pansies the foliage of the cabbage and kale attracts any eye and gives your garden an impeccable autumn look.
