The videographer was not the one who attacked the cop. He was rude, yes. We citizens DO have theRead Morer ight to record cops. We are lied to all the time about exercising this right.

Did u watch the city police officer get attacked because the crowd was incited by hecklers... It's Read Morenot about video it's about officers safety from crowds. It just seems that the heckler is the guy with the phone and so the cops go to instigator with happens to be the guy hiding behind the right to video. So that gets support from folks like urself. The drunk college adult used the police and folks like you that support rights to have his way. If he was videoing quietly to capture the incident that's one thing but when officers move the crowd for offices safety & regain peace on the streets then Vedic or not it's time to move along..... And unfortunately the squeeky wheel got the grease. Video guy ran his mouth quoting law instead of moving alone. Once told to move along just move along its so simple... If you noticed a huge crime scene where police involved shooting... Media show up because they have the right to video... They must stay behind a crime scene tape quite a distance away from actual scene... Even media must do that. So in Towson so that something like the city cop had to deal with don't happen these drunk college adults were told to move along Offices do have the right to maintain officers safety Just look at it as if that city officer was you son daughter sister brother dad mom aunt uncle or good friend then tell me it was to much to ask these drunk adults to just move along...

Patch can you show the city YouTube video in you main viewing not to take sides but to explain howRead Morec razy it can get very quickly on the streets. The folks commenting must have never seen what police deal with daily. This looks bad in Towson but it's what cops deal with daily. It could be a domestic in a home, a traffic stop that goes bad, drug deal, neighbor complain that goes bad I can go on and on its a little crazy but unfortunately this is how it is on the streets. Those that are crying foul for this minor incident causing the officer of some sort of criminal are coming from folks that have never been in harms way. Or if they have they are forgetting how fast something bad could happen to them. This officer used verbal escalated commands to have the crowd move and they still just stayed and quoted laws to an officer. If they had a video rights compliant they should have followed officer safety commands from the officer then went directly to the precinct and filed a complaint..... These drunkin college adults decided to become street lawyers and made the streets the courtroom and defend themselves... Wrong place wrong time. In such an intense incident as folks were getting arrested. It's like a football game the ref doesn't see the first foul but catches the response... What was going on before the video boy turned on his phone... Just maybe he ran his mouth crossed a line got police attention as police approach his phone turns on to see what we seen. So act a fool use right to video as ur defense.... I'm just disappointed that folks have such a hatred toward police that would put their life in harms way tomorrow for this unknown videographer and not even know it was him.....
