Towson University music faculty honor the memories of the heroes of 9/11 with the hauntingly beautiful Elegy by Gerald Bales, performed by Luis Engelke, trumpet and James Anthony, organ. Robert Muczynski’s eloquent Time Pieces will feature James Logan, clarinet. Other works include the captivating Dos aires candomberos with Sara Nichols, flute and Michael Decker, guitar.

More About Towson University
Launched in 1866 as a teachers' college, Towson University has grown from humble roots to become the second-largest university in Maryland. Boasting 21,000 students on its 328-acre campus, Towson offers programs for undergraduate, master's and doctoral students.
The campus also hosts an Asian arts center, a women's center, a nationally-recognized audiology clinic, the Baltimore Hebrew Institute, the Albert S. Cook Library, The Towerlight and the popular WTMD-FM. More important, it's also home to the 4,500 students who live on campus during the academic year.
