Legion Hosts Memorial Day Observance

The American Legion Towson Post 22 members, Department of Maryland Commander, veterans, elected officials, Towson Elks, John F. Nicoll Pipe Band and guests will gather at the Wayside Cross for a ceremony of speeches and observance in remembrance for those who have died in service to our nation.
The Wayside Cross was built by American Legion Towson Post 22 along with the Baltimore County Monument Committee and completed in August 1921. The Post lays a wreath at the monument each Memorial Day and Veterans Day and also maintains the flags at this monument.
