You’ve planned for your spouse. You’ve planned for your kids.  But what happens to your pet if you suddenly become sick or die?

For many of us our pets are beloved members of our families. We devote a big part of ourselves seeing that they are happy and healthy, but what will happen to your pet if you suddenly become ill or die?  Who will take care of your little friend?  Will they know what your pet’s needs are?

Sadly, we see many dogs and cats who become homeless because their owner died or became too sick to manage their care.  Ensure that your best friend will be taken care of if something unforeseen happens to you.

Join us for a free seminar on pet trusts presented by attorney Michael C. Hodes, Esquire of Hodes Pessin, & Katz.  You’ll also learn a bit about pet insurance and ways you can help other homeless animals.  Following the seminar a tour of Baltimore Humane Society’s no-kill shelter will be given to anyone who would like a close-up look.

Co-hosted by Baltimore Humane Society and Hodes, Pessin, & Katz, P.A.

Registration Required.  To register, contact Erin Covell at 410-938-8800 or ecovell@hpklegal.com

About the Baltimore Humane Society

The Baltimore Humane Society, founded in 1927 by Mrs. Elsie Seeger Barton, is an independent, non-profit, no-kill animal shelter, which offers low-cost veterinary care to the public, and a pet cemetery with grief support services. We receive no funding from the local or federal governments, or any national animal welfare organizations.  The Baltimore Humane Society is a proud member of BAWA (Baltimore Animal Welfare Alliance) along with the MD SPCA, BARCS (Baltimore Animal Rescue & Care Shelter), and Baltimore City Animal Control. For more information about BHS, and how you can contribute, volunteer, adopt, or foster, please visit www.bmorehumane.org or call 410-833-8848, or text the word “PAW” to 80000 to donate $10.
