Student Writers’ Workshop Summer Program.
There is still time to register for the 2012 Student Writers’ Workshop Summer Program held by the Maryland Writing Project at Towson University. The Student Writers’ Workshop Sessions (for grades 2 - 12) are scheduled Monday, July 9, 2012 to Friday, July 27, 2012 from 9 AM -12 noon at Towson University. Tuition for the program is $395. There are special rates for families enrolling more than one child, and for children of faculty and staff of any of the University of Maryland campuses. Enrollment is limited. Launched in 1866 as a teachers' college, Towson University has grown from humble roots to become the second-largest university in Maryland. Boasting 21,000 students on its 328-acre campus, Towson offers programs for undergraduate, master's and doctoral students.
