Save Our Schools is hosting two "Artful Resistance" events as part of the nation-wide campaign that invites parents, teachers, students and all community members to respond to the negative effects that high stakes testing and other education policies are having on our schools and our children. Through various art forms such as poetry and painting, and guided by our "artful" facilitators, participants can express: 1) what they love about their schools and education, 2) what they love but has been lost due to the emphasis on tests, 3) visions of inspiring and meaningful public education.
