Harlem Globetrotters, Comedy, Kix-Mas and More in Baltimore County this Weekend

Oregon Ridge Nature Center Winter Events 

  • Where: Oregon Ridge, 13555 Beaver Dam Road, Cockeysville
  • When:  Friday, Dec. 28, 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
  • Description:  Kids 8 and older build gingerbread houses for the birds, Ages 6 and older learn about ‘twinkle twinkle little stars’ around a campfire.  
  • Cost: $3-5

 

Comedian Performance: Brandon T. Jackson

  • Where:  Baltimore Comedy Factory, Power Plant Live, 6 Market Place , Baltimore
  • When: Friday, Dec. 28: 8 p.m., 10:15 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 29: 7 p.m., 9:15 p.m., 11: 15 p.m.
  • Description:  Comedian Brandon T. Jackson performs.
  • Cost: $17-28

 

Rams Head Live Presents: Kix-Mas

  • Where:  Rams Head Live, Power Plant Live!, 20 Market Place , Baltimore
  • When: Saturday, Dec. 29, 9 p.m.
  • Description:  Local 80’s metal hair band, Kix performs at Rams Head Live.
  • Cost:  $25

 

WWE Raw Supershow

  • Where:  Verizon Center, 601 F St. N.W. , Washington , DC
  • When: Saturday, Dec. 29, 7 p.m.
  • Description:  World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) hosts a wrestling super show at the Verizon Center.
  • Cost: $20-95

 

Cabaret at Germano’s

  • Where:  Germano's , 300 S. High St. , Baltimore
  • When: Saturday, Dec. 29, 8 p.m.
  • Description:  Cabaret nights feature live performances of jazz, classical and opera and theatrical productions. For most shows, doors open at 6 p.m. for pre-show dining, and music begins at 7:30 p.m. Seating is limited, so early reservations are encouraged.
  • Cost:  $10

 

Harlem Globetrotters

  • Where:  1st Mariner Arena, 201 W. Baltimore St. , Baltimore
  • When: Saturday, Dec. 29, 2 p.m., 7 p.m.
  • Description:  This year's show features much audience participation, as fans will decide the rules for the basketball game. After the show, the Globetrotters, including a west Baltimore native, will remain on the court for autographs and pictures.
  • Cost: $20-122

 

Tales and Tails

  • Where:  11201 Garrison Forest Rd, Baltimore
  • When: Friday, Dec. 28, 10 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.
  • Description:  Animal stories and animal interaction.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Cost:  Free

 

The Holiday Train Garden

  • Where:  Fire Museum of Maryland, 1301 York Road, Lutherville
  • When: Saturday, Nov. 24 – Saturday, Dec. 29, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Description:  1950s holiday train garden, 40 fire engines, free photos with Santa, engine to climb on.
  • Cost:  Free
