New York, NY (Feb. 10, 2014) –The Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO), a peer advisory group for million dollar plus women-led companies, is proud to announce Annette Walter, President and Owner of Timber Industries as the newest member of the Baltimore Chapter of the WPO.

Timber Industries, a 75-year-old pallet distribution company that provides hardwood, softwood, plastic, and press wood pallets, skids and crates, as well as custom-designed products to the manufacturing and goods industry. In her role, Annette oversees day-to-day operations, including directing new business development activities, product refinement and improvement, customer relations, logistics and transportation, marketing and sales, and the accounting functions. 

With a focus on customer service and customer relations, Annette strategically integrates and executes present-day marketing and communications methods to connect with and help support individual accounts.

Requirements for membership to the WPO include annual revenue of at least $2 million ($1 million for service-based companies) and an ownership interest in the company.
