Ravens, Our Birds Of Happiness And Hope

A Ravens story about being positive and grateful we have them here.

Choosing to be positive, having a grateful attitude is going to determine how you’re going to live your life. This written by Joel Osteen. I do not know
who he is or what he does for a living, but it is good advice. Dad was always
positive, it did not always go his way in business or work, but he always truly
felt positive. I use to wonder as a kid, how he could be that way, but he was
until the day he passed on.

If Dad was alive, he would project with a deep smile with his one dimple on his face, that the Ravens would win for sure. Devoted Ravens
fans are on the way now to Denver to be part of 76 thousand fans there, mostly
rooting for Denver. If enthusiasm counted, we will win. Art Modell has just
been included in the maybe recipient of Hall Of Fame acceptance again list.

Purple is a good color and I had a purple bedroom long before the Ravens came here. I could not find purple items to compliment it,
but I did. Now of course, purple is our color for sure for our beloved Ravens.
It will be very cold perhaps fifteen degrees in Denver, but our Ravens fans
will radiate their own warmth.

Maybe in my seventy-ninth year, this June 2013, I will attend my first football game ever.

There are many firsts in life and sometimes when we are older, we enjoy a first time late happening in a delightful manner. If I attend
a Ravens game, it will be quite an event. I have been to many baseball games
here with our Orioles and even went to a World Series games here, so many years
ago, when I was surely quite much younger.

Our Ravens bring a group of people together from all walks of life to sit in the stadium and to enjoy camaraderie and happiness.

This is a great coming together of people from all walks of life, of all ages and genders and especially for a common goal-the love of this
football team and its players. We gripe if they lose, but we should be grateful
for having them, since we were without a football team for many, many years.
Today I will wear my Ravens winter jacket with great pride and my purple blouse
and my purple bows on my shoes. The bows seem to attract many comments from people on elevators and in stores. They say where did you get them and I add they are ordinary black shoes that I adorn with purple bows, I got online last
year.

The restaurants tomorrow night after the game will be filled with adoring fans real happy or adoring fans not so happy. Whatever the
outcome, we should be positive and grateful for having them and for what the
team and its fans do for our lives.

We choose today to be positive and grateful and I hope we stay that way whether we win or lose. We have not lost anything, if we do lose
this one game. We have attained pride in our city, county, state and in our
minds. Pride is a wonderful thing and we will hold our heads up high win or
lose. We have accomplished a lot since our Colts were taken away from us and of
course, the younger fans do not remember those sad days.  We older ones do and so we can appreciate the
Ravens even more and to Art Modell who brought us our pride, esteem and happiness
back.

Go Ravens!!
