The Arc Baltimore is hiring! The non-profit organization – which provides advocacy and high-quality, life-changing supports to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families – is currently recruiting for both its Community Living and Employment Departments.
“The Arc Baltimore has full- and part-time openings for direct support professionals, house managers, operation managers, and program managers,” explains The Arc Baltimore’s Executive Director, Stephen H. Morgan.
To find the right employees for these positions, The Arc Baltimore will be holding a Job Fair on Wednesday, February 29. Sessions will run from 8:00 a.m. until noon and from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. The Job Fair will be held at The Arc Baltimore’s headquarters, 7215 York Road in Towson, MD. (Parking is available in the rear of the building, off Stevenson Lane.)
“If you're passionate and compassionate, an innovative leader with a servant's heart, then your career path may be leading you to The Arc Baltimore,” says Morgan.
According to Morgan, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities supported by The Arc Baltimore are more active in the community than ever before. “They're living in Baltimore's neighborhoods, going to work, paying their bills, going out with friends … in short, they're living and thriving in the community,” says Morgan.
