BCPS To Start Live Streaming Board of Ed Meetings

The meetings will be streamed on the school system's website.

Starting next week, Baltimore County Public Schools will be live streaming Board of Education meetings on its website.

"This gives more community members the opportunity to see the board meetings," said Mychael Dickerson, a school system spokesman. "It's part of [Superintendent S. Dallas Dance's] efforts to keep communications transparent."

The next meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 7 at the

Board meetings typically occur on alternate Tuesdays, but the upcoming meeting is slated for Wednesday as a result of Election Day.
