Superintendent Seeking Community Input for 5-Year Strategic Plan

Blueprint 2.0 will serve as an education master plan.

As the school system continues to develop a 5-year county education master plan, Superintendent S. Dallas Dance is looking for ideas from the community.

The original Blueprint for Progress was developed under former Superintendent Joe Hairston.

Dance is hosting two sessions to gain feedback for the plan, according to a school system news release. The first is on Oct. 3 at Perry Hall High School and the second is on Oct. 4 at New Town High School. Both sessions will include a 5 p.m. meeting with staff and a 7 p.m. meeting with the general public.

These sessions are the last in a series of six meetings the superintendent is having with the community. Child care and translation services will be available.

Comments and ideas can also be submitted online.
