Orchard Skateland in Towson has closed. The property belongs to Meritt Athletic. The building will be demolished.

I agree, it's suppose to be demolished. Even Meritt did not want it, that Sun's that up.

There were some great people that I met there years ago that skated. The place just went down and attracted a bad environment. It did have great potential, just bad management destroyed it.

Bad management did not destroy Skateland - the customers did.

And who is responsible for controling customers, Managers. Honestly, the owners did nothing to support managers or up-keep of building. I skated there from 2005 to 2012, I saw first hand it going down hill. When you see rain dripping on the floor onto the rink, I think we have issues.

Just another casualty of the creeping fungus from Baltimore City, ruined like the Perry Hall Skateland, Towson Commons, Towson Mall, White Marsh Mall, etc, etc.
