Visited CVP Friday afternoon (4/27). Took a self-guided tour and the place is beautiful! Food was delicious and a very nice HH $5.00 menu and drink prices. One of the appetizers was the Old Bay Blue Chips - way too salty - would be better on plain chips - although they did not skimp on blue cheese which was wonderful! Left by 7:00 because crowd was way too young (when you are over 45). Probably won't come back on the weekend, just during the week. A little concerned about young girl out front when we left - VERY drunk falling into people. Four guys just standing there laughing at her. Was concerned because the bouncer didn't offer to get her a cab - acted like she wasn't there. A little worried about that! More importantly - when my husand and I arrived I asked our server, Ellie, specifically if we could have a separate check from the other couple that would be joining us. She said NO PROBLEM! Later, she came over and gave me the check and asked if I still wanted to have it separated!!! How embarrassing!! Of course I am going to say no and not have her slipt it at that point. I told her before we left that I did not appreciate the way she handled that - that I had asked for a separate check in the beginning. Lucky for her - the other couple was paying by credit card so we just gave them cash. I would not have left her a tip! Would definitely come back, as the place is very comfortable and the food was great. Would just ask for a different server.

Absolutely love the new place, it looks beautiful inside. It has a classic bar feel to it and I love how the upstairs patio is set up. The food is really good as well, and the prices are fairly inexpensive. I would recommend the nachos appetizer, it's delicious. The homemade chips are to die for. Also, there is a $5 food menu and drink specials for happy hour Monday through Friday. You can't beat that. Makes it a great place to hang out with friends. :)

Thank god this place re-opened. The up-town scene was getting dull and boring. Great food, great service, and great company! Best place up-town!

Went to their Happy Hour for the first time the other evening, and I had a great time. The drink prices were reasonable, and the $5 appetizers were great. I highly recommend the "Mini Nachos" (don't be fooled by the name, my friends and I shared and were fully satisfied). I can't wait to go back!

Before this year I have never been to CVPs before because I was not 21. After going for my first time, I fell in love! I thought it was a great atmosphere and overall and a really great time, if only the line wasn't so long to get in!
