Police: Reisterstown Home Targeted in Invasion

Cash, a laptop and cell phones were stolen from a Reisterstown home on Jan. 15.

Three masked men robbed a Reisterstown home after forcing two of its residents inside at gunpoint.

At 8 p.m. Jan. 15, two of the home’s three residents were going into their home in the 100 block of Marshall Wood Road when three men wearing masks pointed guns at them and ordered them to open the door, according to a Baltimore County Police report.

The victims complied, and the three masked men stole cash, a Gateway laptop and two cell phones from the home then left, the report said.

Police believe the home was targeted, and the incident was not drug-related. It is still under investigation, according to Lt. Stephen Doarnberger, assistant commander of the Baltimore County Police’s Franklin Precinct.

Anyone with information is asked to call Baltimore County Police at 410-887-6975 or 410-307-2020.
