Providence Road Fire Started in Garage

The fire started with a car and spread to the home, according to county fire department officials.

A fire that damaged a Towson-area home Sunday began in the garage.

Baltimore County fire officials said a car inside the garage first caught fire and that it spread to the two-and-a-half story single family in the 1500 block of Providence Road.

Firefighters spend nearly 90 minutes working to extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported.
