Two men, including one who implied he had a gun, robbed three teenage boys near the Towson Town Center Wednesday evening, Baltimore County Police said.
The robbers approached the boys, who were standing at a bus stop outside Macy's on Dulaney Valley Road, between 6:15 p.m. and 6:45 p.m., said Cathleen Batton, a police spokeswoman. While conversing with the juveniles, one of the robbers lifted his shirt so the boys could see an object in his waistband.
The juveniles believed he was implying that he had a gun, Batton said.
The robbers then stole two iPhones and a bag of clothing purchased at the mall before hopping on a Maryland Transit Administration bus traveling south on York Road, police said.
The incident was reported at 9:29 p.m. Wednesday.
The robbers were described as men between the ages of 20 and 25 with medium builds and brown eyes, police said.
