Nearly two dozen tires and rims were stolen from a school bus depot in Towson last week.
According to a police incident report, 21 tires on rims were stolen from the depot in the 1000 block of Providence Road between 2:30 p.m. on Thursday and 1 p.m. on Friday.
Phyllis Reese, a spokeswoman, could not confirm the exact number of tires missing from the depot, but said the losses were insured.
The depot is fenced in. Reese said she did not know how the burglar entered the lot.
"The big thing is that some new security measures are being implemented," she said.
