The Towsontowne Mall needs to up their security and install more cameras on their own dime. There have been 2 murders, this recent armed robbery and countless vehicles damaged in the parking lot by hit-and-run drivers. Enough already.

Why does it take a week for this to be reported? What about the current surveillance system, they should post photos of these guys.

After recent crimes, I do not patronize Towson Town Center. With all the high end stores, I can't believe this mall can't have a live monitored camera surveillance system in place. Why didn't the article provide a description of the robbers? Don't the stairs have cameras? If the mall doesn't provide their customers with safety measures, they don't need our business. Maybe if this mall's sales go down, they will increase their security for their patrons.

Yet another incident for, what is quickly becoming, Mondawmin North! Shop owners will tell you that there are regular incidents of open shoplifting and the worthless "Mall Security" won't do a thing about it. Store employees are told to call police. They can keep that mall. Most of the stores are useless anyway.

About a year ago I sent an email to the Towson mall management about their security guards. I saw three of them standing around and laughing at the mall food court. If I were a thug I would know exactly when to hit. This latest crime happened during daylight hours. I walk to the mall and down those same stairs. Never again. I can't wait to move out of towson.

My Daughter was attacked while a group of teens watched and filmed it. Security threw all the teens involved out of the mall. Did not offer medical attention, did not call me, did not call the police. I have filed charges and 5 months later nothing has been done. Their solution to the issue is to throw the teens out, and then wonder why people are being attacked outside the mall. I found a syringe outside the door one night when leaving, and have watched junkies falling asleep in the flowers inside and on the benches! SHOP at your own risk!!

I still can't believe they are building the movie theatre across from the mall with underground parking. Hunt Valley is so much nicer and safe. Who wants to park underground, not to mention the Towson Circle and traffic. It's going to be a magnet for the thugs. The night of the recent robbery I watched the helicopters overhead and wandered what was going on. I think it was kept quiet for a reason.

Whoever it was, a genius perhaps, to have section 8 housing in towson can be thanked for when the rest of us move out and no longer provide business to the area. Section 8 plus thugs equals loss of business and eventual decay.

So when will the Big crime for the 2012 season happen? Seems like a somewhat regular occurrence at TT....heard they changed the director there in early 2011 and right after that it got 10x's worse. Seems like there was a 3 or 4 year period where the serious stuff had subsided...then wham......oh well get what they paid ofr I guess
