Seventeen Baltimore County public schools are closed Wednesday, according to the school system website.
The following schools are closed:
- Dundalk High
- Elmwood Elementary
- Franklin Elementary
- Fullerton Elementary
- Golden Ring Middle
- Hebbville Elementary
- Kingsville Elementary
- Norwood Elementary
- Pine Grove Elementary
- Pine Grove Middle
- Reisterstown Elementary
- Relay Elementary
- Ridgely Middle
- Sparks Elementary
- Winand Elementary
- Winfield Elementary
- Woodmoor Elementary
The remaining schools are operating on a normal schedule.
Super storm Sandy closed the school system on Monday and Tuesday.

School busses should not be on the roads and kids should not be walking to school while workers are trying to clear fallen trees and electrical lines. Someone made a goofy decision.
