The Baltimore County Board of Education will next week discuss an update to the "Mays Chapel Elementary School" project, according to a release.

A presentation will given on Tuesday July 10 at 4:45 p.m. in the ESS Building, Room 114, on the Greenwood Campus, 6901 Charles Street, in Towson.

The public is welcome to attend the event, the release states.

Before the meeting, check out the attached PDF document to the right to see the most updated building plans, which include an outline of LEED certification benefits, a grades floor plan, timeline and a site design that aims to preserve open space for the surrounding community.

The presentation indicates the the school will be zoned to allow for shared community use in certain areas of the property after hours.

Additionally, a walking path will be provided around the perimeter of the site for the community.

The school system hopes to have the new building open by Fall 2014.

Tee, hee. Dallas Dance and the salutation Ph.D. are the epitome of why a doctorate in education is such a joke. 'Virginia School Superintendents' Perceptions Regarding Their Superintendent Preparation Program' is a 162 pages of survey dissection that was stunning for its lack of one original thought or analysis. A Patch survey has more academic chops than this kid.
