West Towson Elementary Kicking Off Reading Program

The program, where students keep track of their minutes spent reading, runs for a four-week period.

West Towson Elementary School will kick off its reading incentive program with a Wednesday celebration.

From 1:45 to 2:15 p.m., staff and students will curl up with a book in their pajames, according to a news release. The school's mascot Westy will also be in attendance to read along with the school community.

The program runs for a four-week period, where students will track their minutes of reading, according to the release.

The festivities will conclude with an event for the West Towson Elementary community at the Towson Barnes and Noble.
