Approximately 1,200 students from Towson University will travel into the nearby community Saturday for a cleanup called "The Big Event."

This marks the fifth year for the day of service, according to the university.

There are 75 clean-up sites where students will be lending a hand, including 55 neighborhood spaces—with a focus on Knollwood-Donnybrook and Stoneleigh—and 20 churches and nonprofits.

College students will also join with those from Towson High School to clean up the activity areas off Aigburth Road, the university reported.

The cleanup starts at 9:30 and ends at approximately 1 p.m.
