I have seen staff members complain about staff/residents to other residents and staff members. I think the complaint I hear the most from other residents is how they are tired of all the gossiping that goes on among the staff members, they say that it has led to loud arguments, awkwardness among the staff, as well as the staff treating the residents disrespectfully because of bad moods surrounding the gossip. It is a little ridiculous that the residents have to listen to, deal with, and be affected by such childish behavior and at Edenwald with these issues going on I am planning on looking for a new facility. Senior living communities are supposed to provide residents with a easy-going, care-free, happy, peaceful lifestyle and the residents lifestyles at Edenwald at this moment are anything but easy-going and care-free. I hope that the directors get on top of these issues soon for the sake of all of us residents currently living at Edenwald and for future residents, but how it stands now, I would recommend that people steer clear of Edenwald for now, at least until the drama and gossip is cleaned up... as well as the facility itself.
