Built in 1974 and expanded in 1990, Towson's branch is the largest of the Baltimore County Public Library system. The exact numbers may change day-to-day as items pass in and out, but in an average week, patrons can expect to see dozens of rows of books, magazines, CDs, DVDs and even video games stocking the library's shelves. The library also houses a county historical collection and, for the caffeine-inclined, a cafe. The library is one of just two in the county that are open seven days a week.
