Senator continues tradition, Goucher hosts several performances, Winterfest continues
Tonight, Towson University astronomy professor Alex Storrs (who, according to his picture on the university's website, looks an awful lot like Santa Claus) will present a planetarium show and lecture called "What Was The Christmas Star?" Up early with the little ones on Saturday? You can have breakfast with Frosty the Snowman at Souris' Saloon at 9 a.m. At 10 a.m., Santa's workshop will open at Towson Circle for a screening of "Frosty the Snowman." Both events are part of the Chamber of Commerce's Winterfest. The Maryland Choral Arts Society is presenting two shows at Goucher. Tonight, it's a sing-along to Handel's Messiah. Tomorrow, check out their "Christmas for Kids" show, featuring special guests Santa Claus and Ronnie the Reindeer. …
