A West Towson woman has left the corporate world behind to follow her true passion—interior design. Emily Peterson, 25, graduated from what was then called the College of Notre Dame—now Notre Dame of Maryland University—in 2010 with a business degree focusing on accounting, and was two credits shy of an art degree. From July 2010 through June 2012, Peterson worked at Constellation Energy until she decided to quit and pursue her dream career. "I've always wanted to [be an interior designer] but wanted to have a good foundation for business first," she said. "Interior design and art always came naturally to me."
