Daughter of Calvert Hall Grad Killed in Newtown Shooting

Josephine Grace Gay had turned 7 years old just three days before the shooting.

The daughter of a Calvert Hall College graduate was among those who lost their lives in a Friday shooting spree in Newtown, CT. The Towson private college preparatory school for boys announced on its Facebook page Sunday that Josephine Grace Gay, who died three days after her seventh birthday, was the daughter of 1978 graduate Robert Gay. "Our particular thoughts and prayers go out to the Newtown, CT community, most especially Bob, his wife Michele, and daughters Sophia and Marie," reads the statement on the Facebook page. A shooter police identified as Adam Lanza reportedly killed 26 individuals, including 20 children at Sandy Hook Elementary School.
