Newsboys, The Afters to Perform at MD State Fair
The Grammy nominated Christian pop/rock group go on stage Tuesday, Aug. 28.
Newsboys, touring with The Afters, have just been announced as the final headlining act of the 131st Maryland State Fair, Summer Concert Series. "Newsboys, with 29 #1 radio hits, have sold over 8 million units, earned five Gold albums and reached #1 on iTunes the day of the release of its most recent “God’s Not Dead,” album," according to a release. The Christian pop/rock outfits go on stage Aug. 28 at 7:30 p.m at the Timonium Fairgrounds racetrack infield. Tickets go on sale June 1 at 10 a.m. General admission tickets are $28 and can be purchased here. The bands will join The Band Perry and Victoria Justice at the state fair this year.
