Police Nab Burglars During Cookie Heist

The Great Cookie at the Towson Town Center was hit for treats twice in the span of a week.

Looks like the cookie's crumbling for two 16-year-old boys with allegedly sticky fingers. Two juveniles were arrested after Towson Town Center security officers caught the pair jumping over the counter at The Great Cookie and stealing cookies at around 2 a.m. Monday, Baltimore County Police Department spokeswoman Det. Cathy Batton said. The burglars ran away from the store but were caught by responding police officers. Two days earlier, at about the same time Saturday, burglars stole 24 pounds of cookies—half chocolate chip, half snickerdoodle—from the bakery.
