Basically they're saying no SLRs film or digital. They're just going to allow point and shoots in on these two days.

I covered the infield for a few years for the Baltimore Messenger. I wrote an article the final year of the "free for all" where several officers at the race told me it was getting out of hand. It was also the same year the photographer covering the event with me was maced by police while taking photos of a melee. Needless to say the restrictions on alcohol etc. started the next year.

I will see what I can't find George. When I asked for the figures Anthony Guglielmi told me that it would be like trying to find out the number of arrests that involved handcuffs because the numbers aren't tracked. He also told me the department does not have a code that goes into an arrest indicating whether or not CitiWatch contributed to the arrest.
