Why does the study ignore very real facts and causes of sleep deprivation related to diet and exercise Dolores? Seems rather selective and targeted to me ...I f my concerns are out of line why has no one from http://www.startschoollater.net/ even attempted to address the very issues that I have brought to this blog..
My concern is as real as your's or anyone else...are you able to address it as I do your's? -

Not one word in this tainted research that pertains to diet or exercise...it is a government funded study that was designed to produce sought after results.
Hardly a fair and balanced study... -

Doesn't matter what has been written...Diet and exercise are the main contributing factors associated with student sleep and learning difficulties...school start time is really a non issue unless the more serious issues are being addressed...this is why I would say Half hearted...the focus is only on half the problem at best, ignoring factors that contribute more to the existing condition..

Why then David...was there only one person with you're belief in attendance at this particular meeting....the opportunity was there for EQUAL participation, and frankly I was dissapointed that more folks with you're mind set were not present....the education opportunity was missed...Constitution responsibility and Commissioner responsibility are different indeed..

You are correct JoAnn...Shoemaker was a staunch Democrat that flipped to get elected as Mayor of Hampstead....wishful thinking about the learning curve..

Funny...how the Hampstead Eminent Domain use has gone quiet...a violation that has been allowed to occur right under the noses of Patriot and Tea Party citizens...and at an expense of potentially over a million local tax dollars...worst kind of violation locally..

The United States Constitution, however, contains a simple requirement in Article VI, Clause 3 that “the Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution.” Not to king or ruler, or even to President or to Congress or the Supreme Court, but to the United States Constitution.

I would have to say that based on the fact that Heather Macintosh chooses to ignore the real reasons associated with student performance and sleep, that her mission , while I'm certain has good intent, is only half heart effort....

ReplyThis resolution is a very important maintenance step that offers hope and protection for the Constitution...I can only hope that other violations, such as the Eminent Domain land grab the Shoemaker concocted receive the same effort...politics or position should not allow the Hampstead Government to bully their way by the use of eminent domain in a way that in fact violates the Constitution. .. I have challenged Shoemaker to speak to this debacle, but for some reason he chooses to lurk in the shadows...watching him speak at Wednesdays great event seemed to show a different face...two face perhaps...
Protecting the Constitution is an all in effort that must be made equally in order to truly be effective....Great job on this one Commissioners !

The folks that opposed this declaration had the same opportunity to have their voice heard as those for it...pretty dumb for the perceived opposition to stay away...speaks to the integrity of your belief.....
