My Father-in-law died of a heart attack, sitting in his recliner, watching an O's game. It was the way he would have wanted to go, cheering for the O's. I have a feeling Earl was where he wanted to be at the time....with his O's fans.
I have his book that he autographed for my Dad "It's What You Learn After You Know It All That Counts". I think it's time to read it again and reminisce about the greatest manager of all times. My prayers and condolences go out to his family.

ReplyI'm still waiting to hear that Quirk returned the illegal booty he received from Whalen and friends. While I'm at it, why wasn't Quirk and the cohorts who filtered the money, knowingly to Quirk from Whalen facing charges? Now that Quirk knows the $$$ was illegally filtered to him through Whalen, he is just as guilty for keeping it. I heard David Marks returned the $$$ and would have nothing to do with it. This just shows you the far left government MD has.

I have to disagree with you, Sally. I've seen him in action. He's a hard nosed Democrat and doesn't recognize any kind of conservatism. I came and watched as he bullied the transgender bill through, calling it a human relations bill so we would not realize what he was up to for his LGBT Lobbyists. I actually witnessed him laughing at one woman who testified during the hearings, then turned to the other Democrat Council members and got them laughing with him at her. Really professional. It was disgusting.

BK, have you contacted the Board of Ed to get something going with the teachers and staff in schools for training? When panic sets in, people don't know what to do. Any training is better than none. I was amazed at how the teachers knew to hide those children in closets and bathrooms in CT and not just hide under their desks or in some corner or worse yet, run from the room into an open area.

Remember when giving old hard drives and printers (or combo printers) to remove the hard drive first. It keeps all the information you stored in it, like your Social Security #, Bank Account #s and other personal information you don't want out there. If these go to the same place as other recycled computers and printers, they are put in storage and bought up by overseas buyers.....looking for those hard drives for obvious reasons.
