TOWSON - The smell of freshly brewed coffee and scratch-made croissants will soon be wafting through downtown Towson.

Roggenart European Bakery, Bistro & Cafe will open a new location in Towson in mid-January.

The new location is slated to open at 28 Allegheny Ave. on the ground floor of the City House Charles project near the Towson Town Center.

Roggernart started in Howard County, later expanding to Columbia and Savage. The 3,800-square-foot Towson location will be Roggernart’s largest yet and will be followed by another new store in Baltimore’s Mount Vernon neighborhood by spring 2023.

Brody Tennant, Roggernart co-owner, says the design for the new location will bring a cozy cottage atmosphere to Towson.

“Our concept is a cozy place to have a coffee and a freshly baked coffee,” Tennant said. ”Our interior is filled with earth tones and natural elements, the walls are wood and brick, and comfortable leather seating will complete the cottage atmosphere.”
