Lithium Battery Fire Triggers Hazmat Situation At Towson Black And Decker

TOWSON - Fire crews dealt with a hazmat situation at the Black and Decker building in Towson on Thursday.

Providence Volunteer Fire company says the hazmat situation was triggered by lithium batteries catching fire.

According to Baltimore County Fire officials, the flames were contained to a “testing room,” and no threat was posed to the community. There have been no reports of injuries.
