Bojangles To Open Five Stores In Baltimore Area

BALTIMORE COUNTY - Towson’s new Raising Cane’s may have some competition in the coming years.

Bojangles have announced they will be expanding into the Baltimore area.

Makhan S. Matharu, Baljinder S. Matharu, and Amaritpal S. Matharu Foods, LLC said they will be opening five new restaurants throughout the Baltimore area, with confirmed locations in Hagerstown and Frederick over the next five years.

Bojangles started in Charlotte in 1977 and is well known for its fried chicken and cajun-inspired sides.

There are five existing Maryland locations in Hillcrest Heights, New Carrollton, Upper Marlboro, Landover and Oxon Hill.
