TOWSON - A Baltimore County Police officer was involved in a crash Tuesday morning in Towson, according to officials.
According to police, officers responded to Goucher Boulevard and Putty Hill Avenue for a “department crash” around 5:50 a.m.
Detective Trae Corbin said the police car and another vehicle crashed into one another, causing the police car to flip over. Corbin clarified that the crash did not involve a pursuit or arrest.
According to the report, the officer was taken to an area hospital “as a precaution,” and the driver of the other vehicle was uninjured.
Police have yet to release further details about the crash.
