TOWSON - The much anticipated second location of Chef Bobby D Restaurant and Catering will open in Towson this weekend.
The award-winning Jamaican fusion restaurant will host its grand opening on April 15 at 6911 York Road. Chef Bobby D’s is taking over the former Uncle Wiggly’s location, which closed in late 2019.
The 1,000-square-foot restaurant was announced back in November of 2021, with plans to open in 2022. The Baltimore Business Journal reports that renovations on the historic building took longer than anticipated.
“The building needed a proper gas installation and, after a water pipe burst, the space needed to have its plumbing fixed, Chef Bobby D owner, Bobby Davis, told the Business Journal.
The new location will offer both dine-in and carryout. The dining experience centers around the outdoor area, with 25 seats, string lights, and umbrellas.
“It’s been a long time coming, and I’m excited that I am able to accomplish this again,” Davis said.
Chef Bobby D’s Towson Restaurant will be open for regular lunch and dinner hours:
Partly cloudy, with a high of 74 and low of 55 degrees. Partly cloudy for the morning, sunny for the afternoon, overcast overnight.
Well maybe just maybe, the committee thought it was time for some new blood and since Ms Johnson has already served on the board before , to pass on her. Why do we spend so much time on diversity instead on educating our children ??
Awesome. More money thrown at the useless parents who are also teachers. Teachers who can waste tax payer money on how to make them non productive , useless angry liberals that live in mom and dads basement forever
If the can’t keep the good bus drivers , what kind of Teachers are staying to referee. I know that there are great kids out there but they are outnumbered by trouble. Reading Writing, Spelling , Math. And how about Teaching Civics.
Useless waste of the office again . Brown tries to look good. About all he is good for
