TOWSON - Towson is set to welcome a new cutting-edge venue aimed at creators, artists, and social media influencers. LUXE Content Studio is prepping for a grand opening this Thursday, June 22, and will offer a unique collective workspace catering to photographers, content creators, podcasters, and event organizers.
Situated within the Towson Commons, LUXE is billed as one of Maryland's most "Instagrammable" locations. According to LUXE, the studio aims to offer much more than just aesthetic appeal.
The workspace will feature a creative showroom alongside the creator space, which serves the dual purpose of a daytime hub for content creators and an evening venue for parties, private events, and social gatherings. The creative showroom, with over twenty dynamic exhibits to attract young, social media-savvy individuals, will be continuously updated to provide fresh backdrops for creators.
Katherine Shortlidge, a Towson native and the creative force behind LUXE Content Studio, expressed her excitement about the opening.
"The core value of LUXE is to design a space to support community, open conversations to network, inspire creative women to have a safe space to expand their businesses without judgement or fear. It's an immersive collective for the creative mind," Shortlidge said.
LUXE's studio is for more than just content creators. The venue offers various packages and amenities that cater to more personalized experiences, such as date nights, proposals, and even "PROMposals." The studio can also host events for up to 40 people, catering to various celebrations, from birthday parties to bridal showers.
According to Shortlidge, the choice of Towson for the location was deliberate. The vibrant atmosphere, potential for growth, and accessibility made it an ideal spot. Despite its proximity to the Towson Mall, she emphasized that the Towson Commons has managed to maintain a unique identity, primarily due to its strong sense of community and focus on local businesses.
