One Man Dead Following Barricade Incident In Timonium: Police
TIMONIUM - A tense barricade situation unfolded in Timonium Friday morning, resulting in one man's death, according to Baltimore County Police.
According to police, the situation began around 10:00 a.m. when police responded to reports of a distressed individual in residence on the 100 block of East Timonium Road.
Upon arrival, police reported hearing a gunshot coming from the property, leading to the deployment of crisis and tactical units.
The units subsequently entered the residence, discovering a deceased male.
According to county officials, police did not interact with the individual before his death, and he was the only person in the home at the time of the incident.
The incident caused significant traffic disruption along East Timonium Road, between Greenmeadow Drive and Eastridge Road. East Timonium Road was inaccessible to drivers from Midridge and Hollowbrook Roads for several hours.
