BALTIMORE COUNTY - Baltimore County has announced its revised government service schedule during the Fourth of July holiday.

All county government offices, public library branches, and county-run senior centers will be closed on Tuesday, July 4. This also applies to the Towson Loop and CountyRide van services, with parking meters across the county providing free parking for the holiday.

Trash, recyclables, and yard material collection will not occur on July 4, and all drop-off centers will be closed for the holiday.

Drop-off centers will operate with their regular hours on June 30 and July 1, with facilities resuming full service on July 5.

Residents should take note of the "slide" schedule for make-up collection days following the holiday. All collections originally scheduled on or after Tuesday, July 4, will occur one day later during the holiday week. In the case of addresses with twice-a-week trash schedules, only the first collection of the holiday week will be delayed by a day, with the second collection being canceled.

Residents needing further clarification can refer to their specific collection schedules available on the Bureau of Solid Waste Management's website or call 410-887-2000.
