TOWSON - Baltimore County police have made an arrest in connection to the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Tre'shaun Harmon in February.

Authorities announced the apprehension of 19-year-old Freedom Disean Brown. According to police, Brown is currently being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center in Towson.

The tragic incident occurred on February 20, when police officers were summoned to East Joppa Road and Delaware Avenue at approximately 7:15 p.m. following reports of gunfire.

After arriving at the scene, officers discovered Harmon with several gunshot wounds. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, Harmon was later declared deceased.

The incident rocked the Towson community less than a week after another tragic assault on Alleghany Avenue near West Joppa Road.
